A letter has been sent out to all the non payers of 300 euros to Procumasa.
The first paragraph states "A period have passed, long enough so that you could pay Procumasa the water consumption expenses and the water contract expenses, given that you have enjoyed of this for free since you brought your property. This expenses amounts to the sum of 300 euros. From this 106.14 euros correspond to the payment to be made to Aqualia and 9.02 euros correspond to the Fortuna City Council fees."
It states that all properties that do not have a meter installed will be cut off on 26 October, and says that you will have to address Aqualia on your own to get your meter installed. It adds that Procumasa have left all necessary documents with Aqualia.
Several of us residents got wind of this letter earlier this week and have visited Aqualia, paid 106.14 euros and now have a meter installed.
The final paragraph of the Procumas letter states " If you finally decide to go on and make your contract directly through Aqualia. and so decide not to pay the 300 euros that have been claimed to you, you must know that Procumasa will take all legal action that they may deem appropriate in order to make up for such expenses."
