TV / Satellite equipment

Hi there

We recently completed on one of the villas del mar and will be in Mojacar next week to sort out amongst other things electrical equipment.  Can anyone give me some feedback on the satellite situation?  I understand we cannot fit a dish but is it possible to get UK channels, Sky News, etc via the signal that is provided on site or would we need to invest in some specific equipment?  I've also heard that the signal at Macenas is not that great - is there anything available to improve this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, in my case I've been advised by Ursula to get a membership to DIGITAL + plus (I'm already subscribed in my Madrid home for movies, sports, series, documentaries...etc)  in order to have a clear and good tv reception for  Los Patios apartment . 

She told me tv reception is not good,  some days it works and others not at all? I really don't understand why? You can ear most of the channels in English depending your choice of channels and "packages" but I don't know about specific English channels except BBC world?
