Racetrack

Does anyone know if the racetack has moved yet? I managed only to experience it once last summer and the racket was horrendous!!!!!

There was an event at the race track this weekend, motocross using part of the track and part off the track with jumps etc, great fun to watch but very noisey!

there was also an event as part of the Fuente Fiesta but other than that i have heard and seen nothing for the last 2 weeks. just got back this morning the last time the track was used was Fri / Sat 21st / 22nd Aug.

I just got back last night and all was quiet! 

The weather was fabulous and I thought the resort looked great. Hotel due to be finished in October but got at least 3 different possible opening dates!

El Oasis due for release in December.

The Kiosk may shut after lunch and open up again in the evening out of high season.

I read a post on the Corvera Forum that Hacienda will host the Spanish Open in 2012, I wondered if anyone else had heard this?

I know that Hacienda has been confirmed as a PGA Qualifying course.

There is a new Management Company in place and I was told they will be putting out a news update to Agents and owners in the near future.

This can only be good news as I find the lack of information available very frustrating.

Good to hear some news,as you say it's very frustating not knowing whats going on.It would be marvellous to have the Hotel open.

Do you think that the kiosk will extend it's 6 month trail and remain open in the winter.If only it were true about the open it would be a turning point for HDA.

Have googled 2012 open but no luck.

We are going over in a couple of weeks so will report back.

Does anyone know what has happened to the website as it dissappeared completely.

The link below takes you to the HDA Golf Website, I don't know why the address has changed, maybe something to do with the new Management team. The main Website has disappeared entirely! I miss the webcams, I loved looking at the sunny golf course on a cold and rainy day in Scotland! (which is almost every day!!!)

I'm not sure about the Kiosk in the winter months, it seems to be have been quite successful over the summer.

Thanks for the wedbsite address.I thought it was strange that it suddenly vanished.

The article about the open in 2012 has really cheered us up.It's been a frustrating struggle since 2002 when we .bought off plan with such high hopes.Lets hope it will be all worth while.

Hope the kiosk stays as it was a small sign of progress.Do you know if it sells newspapers as that would be so handy.

Thanks for the reply.Thats a shame because it would probably bring them more trade.They used to sell them in the IT  bar  but I know that they had to go to Campasol to get them.
