Wheelchair Hire

We are bringing the mother in law out with us next time in August. At 76 she's not too clever on her pins any more.

She will be fine pottering around the complex but the walk to the bars will be too much for her.

Does anyone know if we could hire a wheelchair locally??

They are open Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm except Tuesday 3pm - 6pm & Saturdays 10am - 1pm

Perhaps the community could buy one and we could rent it out,just like we do with cots.

The community has not bought any cots for hiring out.

The equipment that I have mentioned belongs to individuals who are prepared to rent it out.

I do not think buying a wheelchair will necessarily work because there are many things that have to be taken into consideration to ensure that the wheelchair is suitable for the user - One size fits all, doesn't work I'm afraid.
