Sunday Shops

Hi, Does anyone know if the Copo is open on a Sunday? 

No its not I'm afraid (unless they make exceptions for peak holiday months)

As already mentioned Copo is normally closed on Sundays.

It has been open on Sundays recently for the peak summer period. I think it stops opening on Sundays in the next week or two but I am not certain.

It does also open on Sundays for some special holidays including the run up to Christmas.

You can check in advance as they normally put up notices at the entrance advertising when they will be open on Sundays.

Generally, when planning stuff people should assume that Copo (and virtually every other shop around here) is closed on Sunday.

If ever people want to know whether Copo will be open for a specific Sunday feel free to get in touch with us via the Almerimar Today site and we will check for notices the next time we are going to Copo.

Jacqui has been up to Copo today. It is open today and next Sunday (13 Sept). After that it is closed on Sundays again.

 What about Carrefour or just mercedona or is there any shop open for  food shopping 

I believe Mercadona is open on Sunday but its not till about 10 or something like that, to be honest its one of the cheapest around for food and other bits in pieces.  Doesn't sell light bulbs would you believe lol but there is a shop right beside it that does for those needing them!

From my experience living in Almerimar Mercadona is closed almost every Sunday throughout the year.

To the best of my knowledge there are no large supermarket type shops open on Sunday in the area.

There is a small mini-market near the car park behind Espigon that I think opens sometime on Sunday. There might be the odd other small shop open here plus the garages on the road into Almerimar of course (the Q8 garage at the top of the hill sells some good fresh baguettes 7 days a week).
