Weekly Events bulletin, week ending
20th September
What a busy week. The Vuelta a Espana shot through the region, our own local lads have made it to Gibraltar, and the Murcia Feria has provided day after day of wonderful entertainment.
But there’s no let up this week, in fact there’s so much more happening it’s physically impossible to get around it all.
This weekend we have the huge Motorcycle Rally in Totana, Go Kart racing at La Manga, Motorcycle speed racing in Cartagena, Rally driving in Lorca, Bodybuilding in Mazarron, and the Seat 600 car rally in Murcia. How much energy have you got?
 This week the Audi Med Cup comes to Cartagena with a full range of fantastic entertainment, including Flamenco dance displays, aerobatics display by the Spanish airforce, warships in the port, BMX bike displays, Hip Hop and dance festival, oh , and of course the racing , televised live on a giant screen daily.
That’s if you’ve got any energy left after the Murcia Feria and Moors and Christians fiesta, the free choral concert in Mazarron, the local fiestas in Valdelentisco….
And we don’t want to wear you out too much, but did you realise the wonderful Romans and Carthaginians festival in Cartagena begins this week…
On a more relaxing note, the Gardening Club programme has been released for the autumn. For those who don’t know what we do, here’s a link into our Gardening information pages, full of hints and tips for those who enjoy gardening as a hobby, but don’t know how to deal with the excessive heat, strong winds, torrential rains, plagues of insects, unfamiliar plants…..
