Just had a read through some of posts here.
How sad that some of the encouragement back in 2010 has gone so badly wrong. Still no licence , and worse still just can't find out what is going on.
One Lawyer said for 300 euros they would write to the Council to investigate!
The prices are heartbreakingly low due to the recession and lack of licence. People are practically giving their properties away and enduring huge losses.
Owners who have not paid any community fees are getting off with renting out their properties, and unfortunately those renting think they are in Benedorm ignoring Community Rules regarding Pool areas etc.
Owners renting out their properties are still churning out the old rubbish in adverts about amenities on La Reserva note we have lost two Restaurants, hopefully Andy's will always be there plus the very good Chinese.
You must have a car to holiday here. Yes Cabapino is lovely and we are very lucky to have it so close on the door step but we need to be vigilant about how La Reserva develops. It is primarily a residential development with people living and working there.
People renting out their properties should be displaying the Community Rules in the apartments . There should also be a consideration for the residents who live there permanently.
All this apart we love being there and just hope it stays as it is. Some day the Licence will come, but sadly too late to make any difference for some. As for prices recovering not for a long time although the Licence would help a bit.
