If the apartment is in one name only does that mean only 1 lot of taxes has to be paid.

Yes, but you pay the full amount, so it works out to be the same cost.  eg When there are two owners the amount to pay is divided by two!!

It's between 1.1% and 2% of the Cadastral (rateable) value  depending on the area living in. Then it's 24% of the base imponible. Take into consideration how many names are on the property deeds and divide accordingly ie each person to complete a 210 form and fillin the equations etc.

My wife and myself payed 46.20 euro each for our 3 bed apartment.

The form we filled in was the 210 and we also had to fill in the 30 form to register with the office.

Take along a copy of your NIE as I had to go back with a copy.

You can also download the forms, however you will need someone to fill it for you as all the information is in Spanish. I checked if there was something in English, but unfurtunately there wasn´t.

does anyone have the address for the nearest Agency Tributaria office that we can go to to get the identification stickers, file the form and make payment. I'd like to sort this next time I'm out - anywhere close such as Torre Pacheco, ALhama, Cartagena, Lorca etc

I paid my nonresidance tax in Lorca, but when friend went down they were told they had to go to Murcia. We went their last tuesday and managed to find the office and they paid their taxes. Its easier to go by train and walk to office.

Address for non residance tax:  Agencia Tributaria, No. 21 Delagacion Especial de Murcia on street : gran Esculator Francisco Salzillo. Iffice on second floor. We went by train so from Murcais station: Turn left out of station. Go for about 200mt. You willthen see Bienenido Petrol st. Turn right on to Calle Flordablanca. Cross road and stay on that footpath for about 1 mile. Cross over bridge. Stay on same side of road for about 500 yds. Big old building on your left.  Hope that is of help.

I would suggest it may be between     Euro 85 and 110  divided by the number of owners!
