resort management resigning

can anybody tell me what happens now they have gone who looks after all the pools and grass cutting and stuff

The pools. gardens, cleaning etc are all done by sub-contrsctors who I believe will be paid out of the community bank account. Their services shouldn't be affected. RPM were just the administration company looking after the resort, the contractors weren't employees of RPM.

Everything should just run as normal until the management company can be found, the presidents are already looking for them and are inviting a number of companies to tender for the position.

Would this include the security at the gates, etc?

It would be nice if we had some info from the presidents as to what is happening and if a replacement company is being sought and to what timescale etc.

It makes me wonder that if there is currently no management company, are the appointed contractors doing their job properly.

Full details of this sistuation has already been published, but it keeps getting buried down this list.

As I have said before, the main problem is that the presidents do not currently have details of all the owners contact addresses, but we are trying to rectify this.  We are activly trying to contact as many owners as possible, if you wish to be added to the mailing list send you name, garden and apartment number to Pres.N1@cdagr.eu

just a thought , but should we be cancelling our direct debit to rpm for our community fees or will this now automatically be going into the community account,  i don't fancy having my account  "raided" one last time by rpm if this can be avoided , please advise !, iam sure this must have been mentioned on a previous thread although i can't find it anywhere

I asked the President in our garden this same question and this was his reply

"I asked one of the number 1 presidents about the  diret debits he said keep on paying them the money will go into a fund."
 

Hope this puts your mind at rest.

Also, I was told that all the services will continue that RPM were just a management company and all the workers, i.e. gardeners etc are contractors and don't work for RPM.

The only President that seems to keep us all informed is Ptan, (I maybe wrong)  Does anyone have the e mail address of the other Presidents, is this available? As I have an appartment in Naranjos 2 and it would be good to be able to contact Steve our President to ask questions etc.

I have a question for the Presidents, how do people that own a property on CDA that dont check in on these kind of forums find out who to send their e mail address to, to keep informed or ask questions on whats going on.

As I said above the only guy that seems to provide this info is Ptan as below. So many people must be unaware of  the decisions that the Presidents are making on our behalf.

I have never been contacted to ask my opinion about what I want. That concerns me, that a few represent so many, that seem to have no voice.
