Hi Everyone,

Ive been using this thread recently and Im blown away by the helpfulness of the members - thank you. I will be completing in March/April on Condado, Block 11 - Penthouses and I thought it useful if there was a thread where people could collectively post advice on a raft of subjects which would be useful for all newcomers - so here goes.

1. Mortgage Broker/Provider

2. Lawyer.

3. Bank Account.

4. Transfering Money.

I doubt this is in now way comprehensive feel free to add - I will of course add my recommendations once I finish.

Without going down your full list, 18mths post completion, I would say the following have been the highlights for us:

Keyholding - Carol Miller - brilliant!

Lawyer - Parma Consulting.  Excellent english, always promptly responds to correspondance, and gives you confidence

Tax - SpanishTaxFormsLtd.com.  Very cheap, and you can do it all from here in UK

Furniture - if you are thinking if Ikea, then Flatpaxabia will shop for you, and deliver to your apartment.  For the small premium, very convenient, and great service
