Water and electric connection

Hi all.

We are due to come over to the appartment for the first time in april. We have tried to contact PW for adcvise on connection of supplies but have not recieved a reply. We were wondering if we needed to go through PW or can we go direct. (We are non spanish speaking ). If the latter is possible who would you recommend and how would we contact them. How long before they connect.

We recently bought a re-sale from CAM bank, and had our solicitors arrange connection of the utilities because of the language problems. It cost us of course but the utilities were connected within a week or so.

Any body already connected to "Urbaser" can you please send email / contact details. I'm getting a little concerned that water connections are still not made on Los Narajos and if PW don't sort themselves out with financing we could end up with no water at the end of March.

I believed we were going to get properly connected back in Jan / Feb 2010. Does any body know whats going on or current status??

Thanks for your post. It completely slipped my mind that we were still on builders supplies.

If you do have any joy with finding out the process for getting connected, would you be kind enough to let me know please.

Hi Tim

I posted a similar question on the CDA services site about a month ago and Dan commented that Urbaser will not connect us to the water until they have sorted out the water quality problems - here's hoping they don't rush to find the problem, as we're out at Easter for 10 days.

I haven't heard anything else since then, so unless anybody knows any different it looks like free water could be here for a bit longer yet.
