URGENT - golf club hire?

Thursday - 4.30pm

My husband has just landed for a long weekend of golf at Roda, only to find that 2 out of 3 of their party do not have golf clubs, becauseBMI took off without them.  BMI have "kindly" said that they will deliver the clubs to roda when they arrive, but they have 72 hours to do so, so husband may be on his way back before they arrive.

Obviously they are gutted, anyone letme know of where they can hire clubs near to, or even at Roda. One of the party is tall and has his own clubs fitted for his height, so worried that won;t be able to find suitable clubs. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can hire at roda but quite expensive, I hope you get receipts and claim back from the air line good luck :)

Thanks guys. Husband and mates off to clubhouse in the morning. As for claiming it back, seems unlikely. BMI have 72 hours to get your luggage to you before any compensation and your travel insurance won't cover it because its down to the airline!! Absolutely outrageous, their customer relations were appalling today, real "don't care " attitude. Their call centre is abroad and when you select the customer relations options on the initial choice, a kindly voice tells you that complaints can only be put in writing and then they fire off the address so quickly you can't write it down, so may have to ring again to get it, at 65p per minute.

Sorry, rant over. Last time I fly BMI. Sadly, next break is to Rome with BA!! Its going to be one of those years.

Does anyone know the exact price for golf club hire at Roda ?

Or if there is a local company that do it any cheaper?

That's the price for 1 round. I don't know if they hire by the week.
