My Son & his girlfriend spent a few days in our apartment at the begining of this month.
They used our BBQ but have asured us that it was cleaned & the ashes disposed of sensibly.
However we have been advised that there were stillcoals & the BBQ wasnt clean when people we were renting our apartment last week went up to sit on the roof terrace.
We had an experience last year that left us feeling very annoyed
Ham had forgotten to turn off the electricity when we were over in October last year.
When we arrived in December we could hear some one using a drill quite near to us but thought nothing of it. Later that day. The drill still in use, I went up to the roof terrace to grab some rays & was surprised to see a man next door doing some work.
By the look of the amount of work that had been done it was evident that he had been working up there for a few days.
The electricity. Yes, you have guessed it. He had climed over the ajoining wall & had plugged his drill into our electricity supply.
Aparently the owners of the next door apartment had forgotten to leave theirs switched on.
Had we not been there we would have been none the wiser.
No we have not heard anything about any recompense.
So be aware.
Needless to say everything will have locks on or locked down & all switches switched off in future.
