Free money transfer to Spain?

Hi

Just recently had a letter from my bank saying that they are ceasing free monthly direct debits to Spain.  Just wondered if anyone knew of bank etc that still did this?

I use Caxton fx to transfer over directly into my bank account.  Min amount is only £100 and the rate is normally pretty good with no transfer fee.  The whole process takes around 4 mins start to finish.  Just open an account with them.  You can also apply for their prepaid mastercard which you preload prior to going over on hols etc - saves carrying cash and also saves on some airline booking charges.  Arlene

We use Hifx on a regular basis for our mortgage payments but if we are going over to Spain we load up the Spanish current account - better exchange rate and then the card is used the same as at home. No commision charged and if the receiving bank charges you Hifx will refund you the charges. Other half questioned this loads but no fees at all.

Thanks for your responses.  I do have a Caxton card which I use for our Ryanair flights and ironically the day after I posted they emailed me advising they also do free money transfers!
