Future of Condado ???

Hi,

As we are just back from Condado and still are not sure about what is actually happening there - can anyone separate the rumours from the facts?  We heard that the ground was being cleared near the back gate at Jardine 1 to prepare for a  new hotel being built.  Is this true and who is building it?  The golf course has been taken over by Olagolf - does this mean they actually own it?  And will they complete the course along with the other two proposed courses on the resort?  As we all bought into the Polaris dream resort with all that they offered, I assume these original plans are now abandoned so will no-one be completing the projects on all that empty land that has been left?   Just what does Polaris own now and does anyone know of their future plans, if any?  So many questions but although we have heard various stories, it would be nice to know just what is in store for us all in the years to come?  Anyone?????????????  Also who actually owns the Clover, is it PW or the bank?   Are there any plans afoot with regard to upcoming entertainment in the bar i.e. Pub Quizes, Karaoke, Bingo, etc??  Surely there are some plans for the summer months?  And are any other units being filled in Al Kazar or is it to be left as it is - does anyone know ?

I keep looking at these pleading requests from owners, day in and day out, looking for some answers.  I am also as keen as everyone else to know what is going on.  Wouldn't it be nice if, just for once, just once, Polaris World took the time to email a short notice of intent to the owners who have had so much faith in them over the past few years and who have invested their hard earned cash in their resorts?  If they can manage to email promotions on Kings College and El Boulevard to us all over the past couple of weeks then surely an email offering us all some clarification would go a long way?  Of course, some respect and courtesy may be asking too much...............................We live in hope. 

Hi All

Just received email today from PW informing me of the changes to the golf course. It confirms that the course at Condado is now owned by the banking consortium who have money invested in PW and that Olagolf is managing the course on behalf of the banking group. PW still own the bars, supermarket etc as far as i can make out from email.Also anyone who has yearly membership or 25 year membership plan things will remain as they are as PW and the new owners have come to agreement that all memberships will be honoured.

I like the sound of this snippet from simply networking. It certainly sounds like Olagolf have the right intentions there with the way forward for the golf course.

At least something might end up 5 star !!
