Sorry to continue this discussion but for someone that also lives here permanently and also knows "exile" I can assure you that he is most deifnitely not "Victor Meldrew" and is reporting exactly what it is like to currently live on "El Trampolin" - out of all the correspondents on this sire, I genuinly believe that "exile" is the one person that is reporting the truth and not getting involved in "rumour mongering".  Keep up the good work Exile and I hope you are feeling better after yout operation and have returned to your normal mobility.

Hi To All, This is my first post although I have been reading the info for some weeks now. I have bought a Macerena on phase 3 which we had the keys for in October last year. I was a bit hesitant at the time as they wanted me to make a further cash payment to enable me to get the keys and then for the Escutaras to be issued and the final payment to then be made originally by the end of 2006. We are all to aware of the promises which have been made along the line. There were a few problems which had to be rectified and a couple are still ongoing but as this is initially a holiday home there isn't a major urgency. After recently being asked for copies of Passports and NIE numbers I feel it is only a matter of time until we all have the legal properties that we all expect. I don't think these builders are any different to the majority in Spain having dealt with Polaris World etc. I get out to stay at least 1 week per month so if anyone has any issues or questions please feel free to email me and I will do my best to help out.

Hi - this is my first posting to the El Trampolin message board which I have been reading with interest over recent months.    I previously owned a holiday home at Orihuela Costa which I sold in November 05 and paid a 50% deposit on a Macarena at El Trampolin.    This was really buying off plan since I haven't visited the site and have very limited knowledge of the facilties other than the helpful information I have read on this board.   However, having considered the best options for an investment and risks notwithstanding, this purchase does seem to present good value for money.   My husband and I have optimistically booked our first holiday in July and are hopeful that the sale will be completed in time.    I was contacted out of the blue last week to provide my NIE number (which of course I appear to have mislaid) and am of the opinion that the legal process is now moving.   It would be my intention if the paperwork cannot proceed to ask for keys on the basis of what we have paid to date to ensure our stay in July - subject to having even a temporary supply of water and electricity .   Has this arrangement been agreed for anyone else?   Thanks in anticipation.

 

Hi, everyone, We have paid 50% deposit on a Utera in December 2005 and have not had any info re NIE etc. We are coming out on March 17th for a week and will visit the site at some point. Hope to have some positive news by then. See some of you there!

Has anyone been contacted by the auditors, like the person who has posted on Trampolin Hills? It would be interesting to know why they are doing this.

No news is good news so they say.

I am going down 15th April for five days.  Hoping my place has dried out and been redecorated.  Pool is going to be cleaned and commissioned and Martha told me that the escrituras are being held up because there is a new law in Spain which says that the pools have to have separate planning permission and they did not apply for this at the time of building.

I cant wait for this to be over so that we can actually come down and relax and enjoy the Spanish sunshine and way of life,and

 escape from the hectic routine of London life.

Hello everyone is there any updates....its gone too quite no one is talking anymore. I have a tip for the Grand national on Saturday its called El trampolin its a long shot but it might pass the line .....enjoy the sun leave some for me incase I get down this summer at some point..

Just got back last night after a week out in Spain. It was cloudy and cold and rained for about 3 days! Wish we had stayed at home!

With regards to the site, there is frantic activity to finish the apartments which are having windows and doors put in, plus communal pools for them. Word is, they are all sold.

Commercial centres are comimng along too with windows and doors in already. Communal areas on phase one, having block paving and lights. New road gullies appeared on our street.

No news on the escrituras though. Our solicitor spoke to the notary again who would not put any time scale on things. Our solicitor thinks about another six months but dont quote me on that!

Anyone else got any updates?

Hello all my solicitor has informed me that Trampolin solicitor informed him that the town hall has passed the general area's in the urbanization trampolin as completed all requirements. What  remains to be done for full completion is to asses each villa individually to make sure they comply with the info trampolin has given to the town hall.

If the town hall is happy with the info on the villa's then the 10yr builder guarantee will be issued and the Escutura .I have been told in less than a month all should be completed.

This the latest info I have been given from my solicitor has anybody else heard from there solicitor's to confirm this...

Hopefully the end is very near.

 

Well - what can I say.  Yesterday we had no water - today we had no electricity ....but it was all in a good cause. The main road through Phase 1 has now been completed with tarmac and, dare I say it, what a really good job they have done.  The trees on the same avenue are starting to blossom and the temperature is in the 30s.  Firstly, what more good we ask from Spain and secondly, is all this work the pre-cursor to some good news.  The green areas at the bottom of Phase 2 , the top of Phase 1 and the area behind Ronnie's new house are almost finished and are looking really good.  The lights and the trees around the commercial centre on the left hand side as you enter El Trampolin are almost finished and again are looking really good.  The commecial centre itself is coming along well with all the windows and tiles already in.  I know that there has been interest in the shops especially to open a bar - really good for someone like me that lives here but doesn't like to drive

Good to hear that things are finally taking shape and that somebody is talking positive ,mind you it had gone very quite on the message board I thought everyone had given up??? Hopfully all will be sorted out and we can stroll down to the new pub when it opens and have a laugh and a drink.
