Can anyone upload or email me recent pics of the condition of the golf course please, as I've heard it's in great order?
Plus it'd replace the ridiculous photos of someone's motorbike for sale, no offence to the person who's selling the motorbike...... hahaha. Thanks. Geoff

Just back home after a lurverly fortnight. Mad hot - not a drop of rain. Can verify course in cracking condition, particularly the greens. Took a couple of long range snaps - I will post them tomorrow. I still have my issues with the off-fairway areas though, but they are working on them with semi-rough & full rough areas now taking shape. I am just ever so impatient for them to get on with those desperately bare gravelled areas between penthouses & course and areas around the tees that are crying out for some indigenous species of drought resistant plants to add a bit of feature. I know they can survive because I have observed plenty of them at the road-sides and in the fields on our travels nearby Condado. The flowering shrubs that we have lining the roads in Condado are also in the central reservation of the main RM2 to Mazarron and are flourishing nicely without any evident irrigation. Now can you imagine that course with a bit of greenery & colour as you move from hole to hole. I know we will never get an Augusta, but hopefully soon we can give the course something like the surroundings it deserves.
Regards,

Thank you so much Will, I haven't been over for a year and I might get over for 3 days in September if I'm not too busy in work, so it's great to see pics of the course.
Now if I could only work out how to save them to my photos it'd be even better, dunno why they changed the photo area of the site to make it virtually impossible to save photos, I thought the new site woulda made things 'Easier' not 'Harder'......... LOL.
Thanks again. Geoff.

Just a reminder that there are pics of the golf course on the golf society website www.cdagolf.wordpress.com
I put photos of a different hole on each week and news of the course development.
I started at the 1st and next Friday it will be the 8th which is quite spectacular with bunkers everywhere in sight!

Barry,
Those pic's are ideal for any golfer wanting to know how things are coming on and will keep us informed as things further develop. I think this link to CDA golf page needs a bit more publicity. I don't know whether it is just me, but I don't find it straightforward to pick up the link on the CDA services site. I have now saved this link to my favourites.
Regards,
