an update from Richard Curran of Hacienda Riquelme:-
The new restaurant La Vereda the one next to the new supermarket at the top of Sucina, is doing English Breakfast from 0900 - 1300 everyday, cheapest breakfast is 2.95 and includes tea or coffee, the most expensive is 6.95! However you do get a lot for your money, proper bacon proper sausage and eggy bread if you like it, they also do real beef burgers and toasted sandwiches, the burgers are awesome, home made real beef NOT pork.
On Friday and Saturday night I went in there and there's DJ's on and a spirit and mixer is 2.50 Euro half a larger is 1.00 Euro which is pretty competitive I thought. The place looks Spanish and is Spanish owned and run, however some body is obviously showing them the English way of cooking a good breakfast with out the whole thing swimming in oil.
The place is slightly deceiving on first sight, mainly because it looks classy, but then you straight away think about your pocket, but that's not the case, I went in there last Friday night and there was a DJ playing good music, and out the back they've got a big music hall, which shows all the football especially prem games on a massive screen(note you have to ask and they will put it on) but this doesn't effect the quality of your dinning experience as the restaurant it's self takes a front seat at the top.
They also have a daily menu for eating and a proper menu in the evening.
A bright new well run place, that is surely going to stay hopefully gonna take off, well worth a look in my opinion
