Snagging and Completion

Hi All

Has anyone buying in the second phase got any further with their completion that just the e-mails from Luis Mendes in July saying that completions would happen in September?

We are hoping to complete in December and have set a date to visit Luis

Have you arranged your snagging yet? We did ours in August, not because we were invited to, but because we happened to be there and they were happy to let us in. Not sure what progress they are making with the list though, and we haven't confirmed a completion date yet. Will be in the area again in December though so would love to think it could happen by/before then.

We had a look round last April but did not make a list of snags- Have been told builder will continue to put things right after completion, but I'm not sure about that. To be honest we didn't find too much wrong when we looked.

I'm sure you will be able to complete before year end if you want - How long it will take to get utilities connected is another matter

I found Romanber actually quite good regarding snagging. We had to get the base of a shower replaced because somebody had washed cement down the drain. They were there within a day, decided the old basin could not be saved and organized a new one which was put in the following day. And we got the taps in the bathroom replaced because they began to discolour. We were not to pushed about it but had mentioned it. Next time we were there they had been exchanged. It probably helps if your spanish is up to scratch. We got Mo to organize it since he knows all the builders.
