By some of your statements I doubt very much if you even have a property onsite or if you have perhaps you are not quite as smart as you think, perhaps the didalo on these posts, certainly seem to enjoy trying to wind people up for mo good reason
 

For example the nearest course to Murcia City, well established and played extensively by the Spanish is Altoreal

At least I continue to provide real usefull information to people

any of you good people with the .... .. "fine swaps"....... "mighty fine deal" ..... prepared to share the information for the benefit of all ?......  afterall  its for the benefit of the resort and yourselfes  !  ...... the more completers the more likely you are to get the facalaties .

I agree with JP and Frank. We used Roy and to say the very east we found him extremely helpful. We would have been up the creek without his intervention so I don't have a bad word to say about him. Having said that Roy, don't demean yourself having this publc arguement with someone who speaks in code. Let's get back to Spikes bar. Mine's a pint of Guiness!

its so funny on here so many of these posts end up with some one having ago at roy and some one deffending him makes me laugh so much GROW UP everyone just keep to the topic everyone its so annoying when your trying to read about something and you have to read a page of a slagging match first .

I do agree with you boggie as often when I seem to answer a question and people either don´t like, agree or want to hear the answer is when the problems happen

If people look back perhaps at some of the things that I have commented  on in the past, including history of the previous legal action, it can be seen that I don´t normally pull any punches and some people object to this but I have some good local sources of information, not just Calidona

The true number of completions stand as less than 400 and if people are relying on the magic number of 500 completions to be reached, based on the actual number of completions happening, this is going to happen anytime soon, I reckon 400 by Christmas 

Getting any change of use permission in Spain is difficult and then you have to find somebody interested in taking on the bar as in Spain on a new comercial unit you have to buy the lease and then completely fit out the property as all you get is a shell

At present we are surrounded by golf resorts with empty commecial units including Hacienda Requelme, United Golf, La Torre  Hacienda Del Alamo and Peralajec and anybody that visits Corvera Town can see the number of empty commercial units so it really needs a change in the overall ecomony

Realistically there are not sufficent people onsite all year to make the clubhouse viable, even Mikels place has sporadic openning hours

As agreed I plan to have a chat again with Calidona next week to see if there are any developments with The Spikes bar as the only response I get about the Clubhouse is we don´t have the money to build it or enough customers to make it work

i would love to open and run a food and drinks place on corvera with my wife but just dont have the funds to do it shame really the wife cooks good food and i would make it appeal to every age group maybe one day though i might have the money to do it

sounds good would mean alot of talking im in uk till end of december then back in corvera for good then but i am willing to meet in near year to discuss matters

Anybody that has visited some of the more successfull local courses where catering is provided knows what is needed staring or with somewhere that opens regular  published hours, starting early for breakfasts, especially for the visiting clubs

Next food through the day, simple choices of Menu Del Dia, and again dinner menu which you simply cannot do from the facility onsite it doesn´t have the comfort, kitchen or image

I was speaking to the owner of a local bar restaurant who is delighted with Corvera seeing a 25% increase in trade which he can clearly trace to new regular customers from Corvera plus a couple of golf groups

If you guys want to talk business suggest you do this via PM´s and mail and get lots of good legal advice on business setup in Spain, it´s not easy

if i do something i do it properly and very well the residents need something properly on site if there is a shell with water and elec a good place can be made with time and effort and im sure corvera residents would agree

and thankyou roy but have lived in spain for many years and i know there system very well
