Hi

One of our upstairs radiators seems to have an air lock, any suggestions how to bleed these Roca radiators?

Cheers.

Did the same last year with a flat head screwdriver It couldnt be easier. Just remember to have something to catch the water as it comes out.

Hi,

Not sure if the radiators in our villa are the same, there is no screw visible anywhere on the radiator. There is a small metal cap that does screw / unscrew, but doesn't come fully off (even with pliers) - maybe the bleed screw is hidden under this?

Mike

I've done it! The valve / cap I mentioned actually is the bleed valve which you open by hand and after a bit of messing about it eventually started letting air out very slowly. It turns out the pressure was also too low in the system, once I topped it up at the boiler the radiator stated working again.

The radiators in phase 4 must be different?

Mike

Just in case you are still linked to this post. How did you get the valver to let out air? I have a similar problem and even though I have taken the cap off the radiator no air seems to escape. The bottom of the radiator is warm so I have circulation at least

I answered on the other thread too but . . .

The bleed valve is top right of the radiator.  Long time since I did it but I seem to remember it's a screwdriver you need.  Might be an Allen key.  Just loosen it and air will come out.

If no air escapes then you might have a pressure problem on the boiler.
If the boiler pressure is too low then the heating won't work properly.

Make sure the boiler is turned on to heating whilst you are trying all this - otherwise there won't be any pressure to force the air out.

Hope this helps
