Done this before but this time it's final...

As of today and as surprising to you and all as to me, I am shortly to move  to  the Croation region of Split and Dubrovnik and have decided that this time its a major move.  I'm luckier than most that I have transferable skills in this murky world of property rental and small hotels (and that my in laws appreciate that  I do a good job even though I'm a gobby geezer- their description !)

However I will miss CdA which I can only visit from now as an very occasional visitor (part of the agreement) as I have finally agreed to more or less pass over my share in a property. I will miss the forum which actually got me through some difficult times and is good for the craic, and  thanks to all those who pm me, but I would say ' just post stuff' '  I dont understand why people are scared of making a point on an anonomous forum

All that aside I wish everyone well and hope Paramount and the potential of the  the newly included  Music City become a reality. I also wish people wud go back to posting more often as in the olde day's of 2007/8/9 - it was more fun!!!

So as I'll have little financial input into CdA I say  'pay your taxes' and fingers crossed that Paramount does what we hope it will do.

Yes we will miss you as well.  Please take this as a compliment but everytime you posted I said to my husband this guy is up there with Tolstoy when he wrote War and Peace.

Just have to say that your postings were so well written and informative.  But I do hope you will pop back at times just to share your views/thoughts as they certainly helped me.
