Boiler error meaning

Hi all we are in our apartment for the first time this year and when we plugged in the boiler and fired it up error 01 has come up and it won't work
I was just wondering does anyone know what this error means

It means that there is no gas getting to the boiler so check 3 things

  • Check that the gas valves on the pipe by the boiler are open and the should be in line with the pipes
  • On the pipe to the boiler there is a grey valve normall with a copper coloured middle, pull the middle gently and listen if you get a small hiss of gas telling you the gas is flowing
  • Check that ou have paid your bill and that your gas has not been cut off
