Yes (Scapa) Jackie good point.   A lot of our permanent residents do a fantastic job out there.  Barry, Kev and their team who've done wonders with the golf society must be mentioned. But there are many more.  So thanks to all of them.

Hi Frank, great post, we don't post much on here now due to the negativity, but had to reply to your post and back it up. And i'm sure you've noticed much of the original members have replied and backed you up. Nice to see them back on. We were over for easter and had a great time despite the weather.

It's all good and with what's going to be developed in the area it's only going to get better.

I know some people have experienced some problems but in life you can either let the problems manifest and take over or take them on and get them dealt with. Things can always be sorted if you have the right approach however difficult they might 1st appear. A great living space with wonderful people, golf course and views in the most healthy environments what more could you possibly want.

We all know we'll get more facillities and a first class club house we'll just have to be a little patient and let the world economy start to get back on it's feet and we'll all be laughing even more than we are now. In the mean time we can all enjoy what we have come to love. On average we have been able to get over about 5 times a year including extended 3 week breaks in the summer holidays. The kids love it and Lisa & I cant wait to get back there for a long weekend in June.

Such a great thread with all the original's on there it's about time we wrestled this forum back!!!

We too had mould. though luckily no flooding & cant complain obout PW putting every thing right both times because they were reasonably promp each time.

But like you we love.love it.

Could not agree with you more, well said,  

We used to read this forum very regularly and much appreciated the help and advice given by so many kind  people as we were starting out with our dream place in the sun a couple of years ago,  but gradually i became totally brassed off reading some of the negativity and rudeness being thrown around,  yes there is some negative points and everyone i suppose has a right to voice that, but not everyone wants to read it when it starts running over into almost full blown war for some, So, i switched OFF, almost, just very very ocassionally looking to maybe check back on something . So how nice it is to read this thread and realize that there are many like minded people out there still.

This place of ours, and i mean all of ours, is developing and will continue to develop, maybe not at the speed that some want it to, but it will get there  (There, is a different point for everyone lets not forget), so to all out there lets embrace and enjoy exactly what we've got, because thats a bleeding lot more compared to an awful lot out there that don't have ,  and lets look forward to even better times ahead.

Just remembered a comment i heard a few months ago when i was talking to an elderly client, the old guy was complaining about his health and being old and he said " its horrible getting old" and as to that my friend who was there replied "don't complain, a lot don't make it",  well how true.  So we as one will not complain we will just get on and enjoy what we've got because we BLOODY LOVE IT,,,  cheers all

hi hamibae we must have crossed pathes am over on 18th may for a few days repairs are supposd to be happenin now but a dont no who is doin them it was polaris in december  but its all come back am just waiting to email them again with all new pictures

Great post and finally had to respond to it. We completed on our penthouse over 2 years ago now and have visited 11 or 12 times. Every time we get over things have developed for the better and last time (a couple of weeks ago) we had a fantastic week out there. Many of the things we're after will come in time but things will continue to get even better because of the great people who are owners on CDA. There are some things you can't control and you just have to put them to one side and work on the things we can make better.

Can't wait till we are over again....
