Think this was well covered a few days ago, depends if you want a registered taxi, or someone to give you a lift to the airport which is a bit different !!!!!!!    Personally I would go the legal route.

Many thanks for those who are supporting me. I am trying to ensure Condado has a Taxi / Private Hire service for a long time to come. Not just making a fast buck and gone tomorrow , what would happen then.

I price less than local Taxi firms because I live on Condado. Hoever for 5 people you need a larger vehicle as a Taxi around here is 4 passengers. I offer minibus for Private Hire whixh is legally registerred for hire and insurance for that purpose.  Taxi insurance is 3 times the price of ordinary car insurance, which is invalid if you carry paying passengers  even if its only for fuel. 

You take the chance of being stranded at the side of the road if you want to. Just ask Yorkshire Linen guy what happened to him when he helped a friend.Its your choice but don't think the Police are not aware who is doing what.

Forget compenasation if you are injured

 Can't understand people who want something for nothing, unless you are retired here on a good pension, then you have to earn a living as you would in the UK. There are people on Condado who have set up businesses at their own expense, and as dringman said 'are in it for the long term' not fly by nights, the process of becoming self employed in Spain is more complicated than the UK  so I would urge you when when seeking a service to ensure that the company / person you are dealing with is Legal and Registerd to supply it in Spain, don't forget if the authorities do apprehend someone for illegal working, you also become culpable and could face a fine or worse

 Not used the service yet but intend to,  had a few Quotes off  Dringman  albeit  only local journeys but found them fairly competetive to others who are doing it for pocket/beer money
