Hello folks,

I was just wondering if all that rubbish is still being piled up on the dead ground, behind the shrubs/plants opposite Jardine 13? (on your left as you head towards Al Kasar from Jardines)

How come that site is now turning into a sort of unofficial rubbish dump? The last time I walked past there were several metal 'skips', all overflowing with old toilets, sinks, shower screens, floor tiles, etc.

Who is responsible for emptying those skips and clearing all that rubbish away?

No one can seriously tell me the groundsmen/gardeners/refuse collectors haven't seen it.

I hate to say it, but most of the junk thats there looks like stuff thats been ripped out after people have had apartments renovated.

Is it ok to do that in Spain, or would it be classed as fly-tipping?

WW

I think its mostly been sorted now...there was a bulletin that came out from Millenium about it (register via condadodealhama.eu for further updates). ML have now put 2 big roll on roll off type (white) skips on the complex...one by Jardins and one by the waste land by the Naranjos mailboxes (not actually by them but on the far edge by the fence!). A good idea I think...so fingers crossed it should stop people dumping where they shouldn't.

Mark

Hi

Yes Ml have provided 2 skips for general waste.

There also appears to be an issue with domestic waste as well with people fly tipping and using the pool bins etc for food waste from thier apartments either because a) they are too lazy to walk the extras 10 yards to the correct recycling waste disposals on each Jardin or b) because they are renting and are not aware of the legitimate waste disposal areas.

This has/will cause issues with vermin so it is in everyones interest to follow the correct process.

Paul
