Hello All,
Just contacted Roda to arrange for discount card for my son and friend who are at Roda at the moment (we are golf right's holders) I was informed that they no longer give 10% discount at the Club House. Seem that this change happened last month. Anyone else know anything about this.

They seem to change their minds as often as the wind changes.
I received an owners discount of 10% in the clubhouse today but others have had to argue for it at times.
I believe there was a sign up saying that no discount without showing cards, trouble is there is no one left representing Roda that you can talk to unless you go to sales office, best to send them there and see what reaction is given.
Quote that 10% discount was in your contract as Golf Rights Holders, check what reaction that brings.
If your sons name is on the family golf right he should have received a card at the beginning
I m afraid most things that were promised have not fully been delivered and changes in personnel mean that no one honours anything previously said.

We had clients ion last week who were also refused a didcount card in reception.
Perhaps I'll call in the sales office on Thursday when I'm there.

We were there at Easter and spoke to Customer Services in the sales office. Although they no longer offer temporary resident cards to gain the discount, you can have up to 5 cards per property for direct family. Just fill in the form, no need to provide evidence! We leave one card in the apartment for guests to use and as the card is only flashed no one has been challenged as yet on whether they are in fact the person named on the card. I guess paying cash would overcome any challenges as well.

Last time I was at Roda, in May, I only had 10% taken on the drinks, not the Tapas. I didn't realise at the time as I was hurrying to leave. This was the one and only time I went to the Club House on that visit.
I checked with Vanesa and she said I should have been given discount on the food as well - so...... be careful and make sure they deduct 10% on both food and drinks.

We have guests at our apartment at the moment and we told them they would get the temporary discount card. The sales office have told them that they no longer give these out. Whilst our guests say that this isn't really a problem for them, we advertise it on our website and guests who have booked with us for the next 2 months are expecting it. I have e-mailed the sales office but I don't expect a reply. Another promise not fulfilled.

Yvette & Dave we're the same! Another promise that Roda made to us when we bought down the drain! We decided we would get a couple of additional proper cards and leave them in the apartment for our guests but the forms to get these are now far more complex and state that they are only available to linear family, so not even to friends or siblings who use our apartment regularly! Vanesa is apparently on holiday until August too with no one else dealing with cards in her absence. Once again hacked off with Roda and their aftersales!

Notices up at the club house on the door & behind the bar, 10% discount available with owners card and "Calidona" Rentals card!! Obviously no longer any other renters will get the discount.

It's also difficult getting owners's discount at the Beach Club. We visited last week and we were given discount off a round of drinks when we asked. However, when we had a meal, we had to insist on discount, the bill was revised to show discount off drinks but not food. No tip there then! They then had the cheek to try and charge for use of a towel in the changing room.

Hi I've been in the clubhouse on my stay here at the moment and I showed my discount card and there was no problem getting the discount off both food and drink
