Dear all,
With a couple of Manzana 9 residents we have come up with some general rules concerning safety and health matters for our community pool and the area inside the fence. We would like ask Taray to hang up a board with these rules in both English and Spanish. It is always good to have clear rules regardless who is using the pool. As you can see, what we came up with is very decent, nothing special.
-
no diving;
-
no running and jumping;
-
no ball games;
-
no loud music or excessive noise;
-
no dogs or other animals;
-
no food, alcoholic beverage and glassware;
-
no litter
Beside the board, we also have 2 requests to Taray which are dedicated to current situation, since the swimming pool is being used very intensively at this moment:
-
Taray should ensure that the lifeguard enforces the rules
-
To have a bit peace and quiet, the pool closes on Sunday to non-residents of Manzana 9
Any recommendations and constructive comments are highly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Wen & Marcel

goodness me....what a lot of rules to be made ......
why not let us have fun in the pool, have fun hours instead when we can dive, jump, etc and have good old fashoined fun, the pool is meant to be be for splashing and having a ball, getting rid of the heat of the day, having a long cool drink even in a plastic cup.
come on...if folk what peace and quiet give them access to the pool at certain times, early morning ???as they obviously have nothing better to do but sleep

Thats the idea, have a set time when balls and other inflatables are allowed in the pool and general fun prevails and then have times set for quiet relaxing and swimming, im sure we can all get along and stick to sensible rules, after al,l thats what we are here for, lifes too short to bicker about silly rules.

Dear all,
I have received an e-mail from Taray yesterday afternoon. Taray has had a meeting with the town-hall in Torre Pacheco on July 8th and they are close to get everything they need to open the pool in the leisure area. The official opening day will be very soon. They promise it will be much sooner than all the rumors we may have heard.
Therefore during next week Taray will launch a website with all the information people may need about the leisure area. The officially opening date of the leisure area will be published next week too.
And that will also included when they are closing the access to manzana 9.
