Hotel-Motel-Holiday Inn

Hi Guys

Looking for some advise if anyone can help us. We have decided to take the ferry this year to Santander and take a leisurely drive down past Madrid this year. We're hoping to stop somewhere just south of Madrid and was wondering if anyone knew whether there were motorway motel type places to stay and if so where they are and roughly how much they are a night for a room??

Any knowledge greatly recieved can't seem get much info off the net.

There are a number of Holiday Inn and Holiday In Express hotels around Madrid.  They start around €40 per room per night for a family of four. Great value.  Kids under 13 (15?) eat free when adults order.  Check out the link below.

Forgot to say - look at the hotels in 'map view' on the website and this will give you their location relative to the road network.

Forgot to say - Holiday Inn Express provide complimentary breakfasts.  So B&B for a family of four for circa €40 - can't be bad.
