I wonder if anyone can help me

?I have a sick friend who is going to visit me in Condado

I need to know of a phone number for a Doctor and also an Ambulance Number and a nearest Chemist

.I am hoping  not to use any of these.

Where does the Doctor come from and has anyone got a telephone Number direct for him?.

Dial 112 for all emergencies. If he is non resident without a spanish medical card, make sure he gets his EHIC card from his own country & Travel Insurance, otherwise if you had to call an ambulance you could face problems.

Officially Condado medical centre is Alhama de Murcia but no one speaks English there.

Mazarron medical centre is in the portcabins at the moment? and they have interpreters there in the morning.

EHIC card needed by anyone who travels around Europe,

Hospital El Palmar outside Murcia  exactly 30 mins especially if you take short cut Some staff speak English. They try their best to help.

Most of the time you will need someone with a good command of Spanish to help.

Pharmacy in El Pareton and One by old Port good, ave Bolnuevo speak very good English

As long as you have EHIC card and passport no problem in getting treatment they are not interested in Travel Insurance
