Pools and ear infections

 Hi looking at this thread with interest as we are at roda and my daughter has been diagnosed with an ear infection - hopefully it has now cleared with antibiotics and drops - must admit very surprised she has pickd up an infection as she swims regularly in a club t home and also has never had a prior infection. We have been here nearly three and i have not seen the pools being serviced but could have missed it. Does anyomne know if the pools are serviced regularly?

I returned from Roda last Thursday and our pool had been regularly serviced every or every other day. They tend to do it between 9 and 10am. If you want to find out about your pool then contact the president of your phase.

On Phase 2 Apartments the pools SHOULD be checked every morning.

What phase are you on jbutt26?

when i was out a couple of weeks ago our pool on phase ii was checked every morning (not sure at weekend) We are in the townhouses on P5

pool also seemed very clean.

Returned form staying on phase 3- Same pool as Ray and Loretta I beleive, - no ear infection problems.

From what I can tell the pools are well maintained. This year we were better prepared! A combination of ear plugs and ear drop anti-biotic drops prevented our nightmare from last year.

I cant remember the name but the drops can be purhased for a couple of euro in any spanish pharmacy. As soon as any of ours compalined of pain or water in the ear, we used a couple of drops and it did the trick.  Obviously Im not in any way medically qualified to provide this as advise, just fyi !
