Darren to be fair you are not always wrong but you are always negative I think you will find people are leaving this forum because of negativity, most have moved to another type of social network . Correct  I have only made 2 post but i have been monitoring this forum for a while ( mainly with the view to purchase  a property) and whilst most people seem to accept the situation and look how to improve what they have one or 2 seem to just whinge, i've always believed if you've nothing constructive to say then its probably better to say nothing. Why not let the others get on with it and enjoy what they have without bringing up the negatives constantly. Anyway i doubt i will be purchasing which you'll be pleased to hear but wish you all good luck, which i also believe you make your own

You have taken a bit more flack than borat has hurled your way there without too much bother. I can't see his little dig there penetrating your Rhino skin too far !

Most of what you post is factual and quite true, it's just that a lot of people are blinkered to it and not willing to accept the failings. I myself see Condado for what it is and for what it is not but am just a little more optimistic that the long overdue improvements may be just on the horizon. No matter what anyone may think, facts are facts and Spain as a nation is in the proverbial *** which is bound to have an impact on when, if ever, the original concept of Condado comes together. I think like many, the saving grace will be if , and only if, the Paramount project comes to fruition quickly and does not keep stumbling along like so many of the promised facilities of recent years.

Talking about bets, I would not yet write off Condado as the site for the Paramount park. I think there could possibly be a bit of a 'red herring' in there with the alternative site which has absoloutly no infrastructure whatsoever, while Condado sits there with roads, services, and potential for speedy planning permission in place.  I sort of think it could be a case of both parties holding out until the last minute to see who 'cracks' first and grants the other party the financial deal they were looking for.

Good post  Billbo but i'm sure not everyone would want to be constantly reminded of Polaris failings, thats not being blinkered . Constantly looking to the past is not going to help your future. Inflicting misery ,doom and gloom on others is also not fair, most seem to have come to terms with the situation they find themselves in and are finding ways to improve the resort/ urbanisation,  I'm sure the place with thrive one day, even sooner if Paramount does come to fruition. 

Borat.  I think you've you are confusing Darren with others on the forum.  If people leave the forum because someones view is less optimistic to theirs then thats their own issue.  And to be honest Darrens possible exaggerated negativity is easily balanced by some with the same level of optimism.

People complain more about personal comments being made merely because someones viewpoint is different.

Also I have noticed in the past month or so a lot of people with no, or very few, postings on the CdA forum who have tended to make personal comments which only seem to have the goal of creating an arguement.

I'm not saying you're in that group, its merely an observation.

Don't worry Darren I still think you are an overly pessimistic b*stard!!

Over ourselves in September (back end). Maybe I can enlist you to drum up some passionate protests amongst the residents/owners regarding the landscaping, or more so the lack of it in our Jardine (8) and also 7.  

I get the feeling you are not one of those that are just out for themselves and have the whole of the community at heart. .

I realise you tend to dwell on the negatives, but see this as having high standards and expecting to get delivered what you paid for. Nowt wrong with that !

If you are around, I'll buy you the other half to top your glass up no prob's.

As for the number of newbies, then whilst we've had a lot of new sales recently as the banks offload, i can't help but feel there are now a few 'flamers' appearing who actually don't even own on CdA, but are maybe beginning to see it start to move forwards a little and see it's possible threat, hence trying to nudge it off course.

Pity we haven' got 'monitors' who can check IP addresses (and i know you can generate random ones from some ISPs) to see how many are actually the same posters under different monikas

I for one find Darren very humerous and agree with him most of the time.

I however to choose to live with the cards being dealt and still love the place for a chill out.
