Trouble at the Clover

everyone take no notice of this Valeros or whoever he/she is, more and more people are coming on these forums just to wind people up, The simple thing for all these spanish who don't like us Brits, answer one question, your economy is down the toilet if it wasn't for foreign investors in your country you would be bankrupt by now, Spain relys on foreign investment not the other way round. For all the other Spanish people who are all so friendly I hope that this incident was only a one off, remember all nationalities have trouble causers not just the Brits.

The only real problem I've ever had at the Clover is getting served! When we were over in July and it was very busy there were problems with parents leaving their offspring to fend for themselves while they sat outside. This meant half of the Clover became an unsupervised youth club with the bar staff stepping in on occasions. In time, it would be nice if Al Kasar could feature an area for the youngsters to get together in a more suitable environment. Otherwise its always been an amiable atmosphere when we've been there with many nationalities mixing and enjoying their time together.

 

Valeros just do one - your crack is rubbish and nobody cares about what you have to say.

As the user name suggests, I am a new owner at Condado.

The suggestion that the price of something is somehow linked to a perceived 'worthiness' of the person buying it is absolutely ridiculous.

Not many vicars drive round in expensive cars and not many drug dealers drive round in cheap ones so that would be one example of the flaw in your logic.

Also, you might want to consider learning to spell before issuing your sweeping dismissals of people.

 

New owner, you are obviously Valeros. Just grow up, and get a life!

I genuinely am a new owner at Condado.

So a nice warm welcome from the community involves being tagged as 'less select' and now being told to grow up and get a life.

Absolutely charming.

 

New Owner - I Don't think you are Valeros, not sure how they came to that conclusion.

Borat on the other hand? He does seem to agree with Valeros.. Could they be one and the same? Borat does think that CDA is full of "less select clientel"  Valeros called us "Cheap" Similar???

Also Borat states he lives in a Green house a stones throw from CDA and Valeros claims to be a farmer near the proposed Paramount park. I am guessing neither is true, but similar stories?

To also address Borat who asked why Valeros was getting more criticism than me, I would imagine that is becasue Valeros doesnt own on Condado (As BFR pointed out) and also Valeros insulted the residents by implying they were "Cheap". I have never personally insulted anyone (Valeros included).

With all these new people coming to the forum and stiring up trouble, dont you miss the olden days when I was all you had to put up with?

It is pretty easy to see through these 'characters' for what they are. Many flaws in what they post which gives away somewhat that they do not know their 'chosen subject'.

On the other hand, although many people may not like your pessimism, what you state is factual and quite true and your predictions for the future are your opinion which you are perfectly entitled to.

I agree with Darren there that you have nothing to do with the aforementioned posters (dick's). Please do not take the response you received linking you to the dick's too much to heart - I think you have just been incorrectly linked in error. You will find that you will actually get quite a warm welcome on this forum and be inundated with advice that will help you along the way.

I don't think New Owner is Valeros either....for one thing they were disagreeing with what Borat and Valeros had said about cheap houses attracting cheap people, which if they are a new owner is more of an insult to them than us! Think another thing that Borat n Valeros missed is that, in these days of financial hardship, it is most likely as difficult if not more, for people to get a loan. I know the 100% loans are out there, but they still have to pay them every month.
Darren, you read the statement in Borats info box a bit different to me... I thought him saying, he lives in a greenhouse a stones throw from Condado, was referring to the proverb? People who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones! Not sure if that's referring to him, who may be from Camposol, or aiming it at us, who sometimes criticise Camposol???
As for Valeros, if he does live on a farm near to said Paramount site, what the hell has that got to do with us?? V, you should be attacking your local authority for that one, not us on CDA or any other urbanisation in the area. Take it you don't want the airport either. BTW your attempt at a west country farmer is rubbish.
New Owner the majority of people on this forum have been around for a long time and are very nice, some more negative than others, but that's just their opinions...and you can choose to ignore them. As mentioned before, there are trouble makers out there who have nothing better to do than make other forum users lifes a misery and you do get to recognise them for what they are. the moaning minnies are for sure alive and well. It's August 9 in the UK and in parts it's like October and we've got the central heating turned on - for goodness sake, take a look again, thank your lucky stars, get a grip and enjoy the sunshine !!!!

Gimme me a break...

You slagged The British and criticised CdA residents for putting pressure on the spanish authorities (personally the British comments didn't really affect me too much)

Then signed off with ”you sell cheap houses, you get cheap people”.

And this was all with no real knowledge of what happened or even if anything had happened.  If you'd stuck to your opinion on the alleged behaviour maybe people wouldn't have been p*ssed off but you didn't.

Valeos/Valeros

I appreciate that you live in the area. However, some of your comments were a bit near the mark in my opinion.

First off, it doesn't state anywhere in the first post regarding the clover incident the nationalities of those involved. I understand that there are a lot of spanish owners on Condado as well as british, norweigan etc.

Of course we need to nip these things in the bud, but you did state on your original post about cheap people buying cheap properties, so that is where I think some have taken offence.

Most of us bought off plan, and I can assure you they weren't cheap, especially with the state of the euro which had taken a nose-dive when most of us completed.

With regards to Paramount, that has nothing whatsoever to do with Condado, Polaris or anyone else. This is a "spanish" thing for want of a better word.

Of course this forum is a public area, and anyone can post, but some posts can be seen to be pouring petrol on the fire.

John and I respect *all* people, and we hope that is the case with all those who are on this forum.
