advertisement for rentals

hi all,could anyone recommend a good advertisement company for renting properties as i am considering going down the rental road,any info ie:price for year,how many rentals on average they get and any other service required to rent.

We have had ours advertised on eye-on-spain for a few years now, managed about 12 bookings this year, EOS has been by far the best way of advertising.  Much better than any of the management comapnies.  We have also signed up with Novasol, they are a big European holiday company, and have just managed to get our first via them

However the rental market is a bit naff at the moment. Novasol will take a cut, we didnt get a sniff when we advertised our place for a the goings rates ( €350 + Bills a week peak ) and had to reduce it to a silly amount to get interest. €225 High Season going to €175 low season a week inc bills.  This is to cheap and really wasnt / isnt worth the agro, thus we have decided to take it off the market for now.   Friends and family only

Seriously worth thinking about the need to rent out.  IMO until paramount land, its not worth renting unless you have to.  If you do rent, make sure you charge at least €5 extra a day for the use of the electricity, as they will leave the air con on all day, as we have found out with 2 massive bills.

great way to guard against people running massive electric bills

have a meter fitted to the aircon

we give a free ten euro card and anything above that they pay for

works a treat

The metre for the aircon sounds like a great idea,

Can you tell us who fitted it, how much does it cost, and how do guests top up the cards?
