Top Floor Penthouse BBQ

We bought a BBQ unit from the DIY store known as B & Q which is on the way to the port. We discarded the legs and it fits perfect.

Depends what you want to do with it. I looked at all sorts of BBQ's and prefer to cook with gas rather than coals. I settled for a CADAC Safary Chef which I bought in the UK. Fantastic thing that fits under the BBQ shelf with room for other utensils and you can cook allsorts of things on it for up to 4 people at a time.

I wouldn't use anything else. Costs around £60 in  the UK. Made in South Africa and very high quality. Obvioulsy need a gas bottle from the Repsol garage and mine has lasted for the last 3 years with loads of use!

Our friend got his work to custom build his shelves and then he shipped them over as they were made from cast iron, a real pro job they are?

Yes he was of the same opinion as you PW should have supplied the shelfs.
