When will the golf course be officially open to play on?

Last I heard it was Sept/Oct but if the rest of the development is anything to go by don't bank on it!

when i was sold my apartment i was also sold a golf share so why do we have to pay to play 

 the comunity charges are to cover the upkeep of golf  pool and grounds within the development   or so i was told and there is also charges  to  be paid to the town hall for comunity services  as we will all be share holders in the golf  were is the money going and who to .      if all apartments have to pay 80 euros per month  then phase 4 alone will be paying over one hundred and fiffteen thousand euros each year between them and they still expect us to pay to play golf 

if i am wrong can someone tell me whats going on

We were also told that the golf would be free as it would be in the community charges and have a small brochure on the development which says "Free Golf for Life" but apparently it will now be decided by the community weather there will be a charge or not.

Just posting what was on the Arenal 2000 website and in there literature for apartments .It clearly says golf share.No where have I read about pay and play. It is only members of these forums that keep talking about seperate charges.If it is within the gated community and for residends only it must come under community charges like the swimming pools etc.

It also says on the website that apartments will have underground parking and storage  included in the price but I know for a fact that not all apartments have a storage room.  If your storage room is not on your contract then you don't have one.  You can however pay extra for one if they have some spare!

if its up to the communlty to charge for playing golf and we are the said community and each phase has to have a spokesman then who in there right mind is going to support paying for something  that is included in apartment price

and we will also pay  site fees for the upkeep of the developement . and for people like myself who dont play golf someone is taking us for mugs    free golf for life as stated in brochure .

 

Jool25 have to agree with Babes email.It said free golf for residents.We are paying through our fees for the up keep of the complex.Only a vote by the community could change this to having to pay.Like Babes email we are the community who in there right mind would vote to pay again.From information I have seen there are are car parking and storage spaces for each apartment.These can be bought with your apartment or seperatly as there is a seperate deed for the parking spaces and storage.These I believe you can sell on seperatly to your apartment.There is no such clause for the golf course .All residents have a right to play.

I certainly agree with both of you.  We think the golf SHOULD be in the community charge, that's why we bought on this development in the first place.  Lets hope that the majority think the same as us and will vote accordingly.

l everyone does anyone know when block 11 phase 4 is likely to be completed as l was told about june/july at earlieist,this is my first time on the forum so please mind my spelling

I dont think it wil be ready for June/July. at the moment they do not even have any workers on site and there is still quite a bit to do to this block. We have alos purchased in block 11 phase 4. Arenal cannot appply for habitaation certificate until all work is completed then you are looking at another 8 to 12 weeks for the certificate. i reckon the earliest will be October 2007.

I've just uploaded photos of phase 4 from last week photo 1,2,3 are block 11 photo 4 is blocks 7,8 photo 5 block 8 and photo 6 is block 9 as you can see there has been no progress for the last 3 months or so block 9 is by far the most behind from appearance.Lets hope these new builders are on site now.Only positive is the grass is growing well  see photo 4
