A2Z internet renewal

I signed up originally but haven't yet had it installed.  I was waiting on a follow up call from A2Z as per their email and never received one.  Wasn't too bothered as it wasn't going to be used much during the 6 month period.

I recently got in contact with A2Z to check what needed to be done and they pointed me at ML in relation to the service charge.  When I emailed ML and queried would the 6 month charge of €33 cover me for 6 months from installation eg April - Sep.  They told me that was their view.

So I assume that means the deal is to continue.

Has anyone fitted their own phone (free internal line) and wi fi modem?

If so, any problems - it seems a lot for a2z to fit these items as they can be bought at reasonable prices in the supermarket.

 You can fit your own phone but it wont work until A2Z put in link? its 50€ with phone 35€ without if I remember correctly.

Unless you live on Condado the Internal Phone is a waste of time as you can only phone a few people. Unless you pay the monthly charge for outside line then you pay top prices to make calls.

Once you have the Modem fitted by A2Z (you have to have this) you can then fit your own Wi Fi router or Contact Phil Tann who can do it for you at reasonable cost

Although the Modem seems expensive around 80€ the monthly fee for Internet is very cheap for 2MB paid via the Community. about 35€ for six months.

According to an e mail we have had back this week from A2Z they are waiting for confirmation from the community as to whether they can continue with this special service.  We would absolutely like to renew so not sure how the 'community' can give the go ahead.  offer ends June 2012 so a decision should be soon if we are all to continue using their service.

 Hi Guys , did any one find out if the renewal with a2z for internet would be automatic , mine is up for renewal now and so farhave not been contacted or debited for re-connection , i have an ip camera set-up  and for last week have not been able to communicate with it , i fear our internet has been disconnected as it has run out , any ideas !!

Not sure what the service was like as they never contacted me to make connection. Would still very much like to get connected this year. Can anyone forward a contact there with either email or tel. number.

They'll almost certainly be wanting to increase the cost - which on the one hand seems to be sharp practise once you have captured your customer base, but the actual cost is very low and probably not realisticly going to continue. But we'll see.

I've learned a lot these past 4 years or so since I have been associated with CDA. Dealing with Spanish companies and Ryan Air is a bit like being in a boxing match - but with both hands tied behind your back. If you are not really careful, you will get a proper thumping! Just look at the mess currently ongoing with Corvera Airport and Paramount - there is a phrase somewhere that uses the words 'Brewery, up, organising and Piss'  You sort them out.

Our modem was installed on Oct 20th and 6 month payment taken on Nov 16 last year.  So whichever date you go off, our initial 6 months is up, with no renewal money taken as yet.

We are back out on Sunday for a week.  Can we assume we will still have Internet access when we get there, or will it have been stopped until negotiations are concluded ?

As of today, we still have internet access, under this deal.

 could some one advice me on the phone that comes with the internet,  is there a requirment to buy a phone or could you bring one form uk would this fit or are the connections different it would be just for the internal use.
