Thanks for all the advice and help, I fortified myself with coffee and called the helpline 1st thing this moning, not as bad as I feared, with the merger Bancaja have apparently removed the old digital signature of letters / numbers and replaced it wth just numbers
You need to punch in your old code then enter your chosen new code into the system, accept the revised conditions (all in Spanish, I could have agreed to donate a kidney !!) and away you go....
Did it over the phone while online and was up and running in 10 mins - all sorted - very good system EXCEPT when I asked to change my mobile number for the txt alerts - ahh sorry we cant do that here at "online banking" you need to call your branch !!
