The responses are bang on especially with the Poiic now tightening up on UK cars plus actually if you are iving here as a resident you do not get 6 months to register a Uk car onto Spanish plates, so the information about driving back is not correct, regardless if a car has an MOT or current road tax if you are a resident you have 30 days to register the car
The biggest problem is that because they cannot be traced the Easter Europians and Moroccans tend to buy up the old Engkish cars to run around in so there are now more road blocks to clamp down on this
Cars here are expensive but this means that they also hold their value better, I am just selling my one owner 2007, 7 seater Open Zafria, diesel with high mileage at 176k but full service history and have already been offered €8k for it, in the UK you can get the same car for just over half this price
I also originally brought a UK car over, an 2002 Astra automatic which bought at auction, put it on Spanish plates and change the headlights which cost me around €1k and when I sold it 2 years later still git more back than I originally paid
