Good afternoon,
seems that the president still has not understood the relation between the irrigation and the pending appeal, bless him. The comment of the "president" threatening with legal actions was very interesting, at least he could have signed it....., anyway, for those who dont understand what's going on, we are talking about NOT having a proper irrigation water supply thanks to the actions of the elected representatives. I still dont understand how somebody can be president without noticing that the gras in his/her garden is dry since weeks.....

Dear robandbev
Thank you for your further response, it will all provide the evidence needed to take action.
To answer your comment about signing my post, I apologise for that as unlike yourself most people know who I am on this forum.

Dear Phil,
I understand your position but I think you should also take into account your owners, now hearing that you guys have not noticed
that the resort is running dry is really a no go, what ever political things you might have running behind the scenes should not lead to this! Threatening with "liable actions" will not sort our problem. Sorry

Why doesn't this robandbev stand up properly and put yourself forward to be one of the presidents, as I'm sure you understand that the presidents are voted on. looking forward to seeing you attend the meetings so you can reply and enlighten the rest of us, about the way the resort should be run, or are you going to be another person to come on the forum, slag off people who put alot of work in then disappear, never to be heard of again.

We are all owners here! The presidents are working for free on our behalf, for which I for one am very grateful. Everything is on the mileniun website as Phil Tann quite rightly stated. So please stop this mud slinging! Also totally agree with Andy, you posted as I was still writing!

Dear Robandbev
Thanks again for you comment, If your allegations about President are true then you have nothing to worry from Libel Action.
But just so you are aware I have asked the Administrator of this forum to monitor your posts and of course they will have your personal email address so you can be identified should it become necessary to have papers served.
On a more friendly note if you would like to have a realistic discussion about your concerns I would be happy to arrange a meeting between yourselves and some of the Presidents in Mileniun’s office when you are next in Condado, so you can advise us of where we are going wrong and give us the benefit of your expertise.
It’s up to you
Phil Mather

I have the solution.
Lets use the water from the lakes on the golf course.
Then we can get in and pick up the 50,000 golf balls lying around and sell them and fill up the golf lakes and the new reservoir.
Easy.

Andy,
Probably what anyone with half an ounce of common sense thinks as well. Me thinks Rob & Bev should stand and be elected president & vice president at the next AGM and then we can have a clear direction of which way the resort is headed .....................down the pan if the nature their comments are anything to go by . I seem to remember a poster from Bristol a year or two back that made as much sense as this guy.
On a brighter note, I was glad to see in the Mileniun news sheet that while we have this issue with the irrigation, the new trees in the gardens are being watered by portable tankers - phew, thank god for that. Please don't tell me it was one of their little fibs !!
Regards,

Mark, when the money runs out for the 'private crossing' then if it is full then you'll deffo need Jesus to get across it or maybe Moses to part it ................

Just got this email. Apologies if you have seen it before.
Cheers Jay
Dear community,
On Friday we informed you about the irrigation situation. The administrator did not stop of
visiting the Town Hall, the last visit was yesterday in the morning, so, today we can confirm
that this morning at 8:30 a.m. we were meeting the technician from the Town Hall, the
plumbers from Polaris and some responsible of the maintenance from CREA. At this moment,
all devices have been activated in order to implement the solution we mentioned you on
Friday.
Luckily the efforts and pressure from Mileniun have been fruitful.
Kind regards.

Has anyone investigated how much buying in water to fill the lake will cost- just so we have a ball park figure?
Can't see how helpful it is to be shouting about who is to blame (if anyone) we just have to move forward. Poor communication seems most likely but I doubt that our Presidents are genuinely culprits of anything.

I have seen that many posts regarding water levels I am still not 100% clear what is happening..??
Is the lake on La Isla now going to act as the central resevoir for all of CDA to channel all water across the resort andf therefore will is nearly always be full and if so when will they start to fill the lake?

We have had an message from ML saying that for the moment the irrigation water is being switched back on and the Lake around the Isla has been designated an Urban Entity. I think this means it's now a public space and a resevoir for the resort (though not the golf course) rather than private for Isla owners. Phil Tann and the other Presidents are trying to get to the bottom of when, why and what occurred regarding switching the irrigation water off. This Urban Entity arrangement means we have to pay for the upkeep and maintenance whereas before Polaris maintained the other resevoir and pump house. Until we have a summer behind us I can't see how we will know just how expensive this will now be for the resort.
I understand that all the water that fed the original resevoir can now be directed into the Lake (rain and some under ground supplies) but we will have to buy water in to keep it's levels up. As it seems we were buying the irrigation water from Polaris's water company anyway I'm not sure whether we'll notice the difference in cost as they always charge top dollar. However the lake is larger than the other resevoir so likely it will cost us more money. Phil Tann says the lake was built in a temporary style as the originally planned Lake was to be much bigger and had the Lake originally been created as a resevoir it would have had better lining- our Lake leaks! No doubt this is a problem now we will be relying on it.
So, yes I imagine in time our lake will have higher levels. But water has to be sourced and any issues ironed out before that can happen.
If I have any facts wrong I'm sure someone will post and put them right.

I'll make no comment about how and why the community finds itself in this dreadful situation but at the end of the day the GARDENS HAVE TO BE WATERED, otherwise we'll all be looking at a desert landscape and any small chance the half full brigade had of getting their money out (I have to assume that is what they want since all they can do is run CDA down) has gone down the pan. It seems we are victims and another example of 'the Spanish way of doing things' which (unless you are Spanish) I doubt we'll ever understand. So is there any interim arrangement that can be made to try to conserve the gardens and vegetation therein or do we stand by and watch the place dry out ? If we don't water the gardens we may as well cancel the garden maintenance contract - then what's next, it sort of spirals does'nt it ..................................... let's get behind the Presidents and get this sorted pronto !

below from Mileniun but is this true or does the La Isla lake have to be filled before the gardens get watered ?
We are glad to confirm you the activated devices for sorting the problem with the
irrigation system out are finished. Plumbers have been working during the last
night for finishing the works. Computers are connected to the generator and
tomorrow the irrigation will be turned on. From that moment the irrigation
frequency will be the same as it was established in the past.
