Water Park Terra Natura - Recommendations

Hi All,

Looking to come over next weekend and kids want to visit the water park first (most likely Saturday), any recommendations about what time to get there, whether to do the zoo first or the water park and is it worth taking your own food?

Just back from condado.went to the water park on a Monday as soon as it opened.
Heard the weekend is too packed.perfect time to go and get your place under a shaded area as ther was no shades
Left in the afternoon and it got extremely hot.we did the water park first then walked through to the zoo . Had some food
And then back to the water park when the kids got hot.perfect.theres a special offer of a free day but has to be used
The very next day,great value. 65 euro for two days in the water park and zoo for two adults and two children.
Spent 20 euro on food.not bad.

There is also a water park at Vera, about 1 hour drive from Condado if you take the toll road

We went last week and had a great day. There are about 6 different slides and 3 pools so its not massive and midweek wasnt too busy. Rubber rings for the slides are free and it was €20 per adult for the day. Usual charges on top if you want to hire sunbeds and safety deposit box etc but overall pretty good value. We took our own food and drink which they are ok with as long as no glass bottles

We've not been to the one in Murcia so cant compare but its another option. Just factor in the toll road is about €7 each way or take a longer free drive via Totana/Aledo

Hi, we were in terra natura a week ago and we loved it. We went early in the morning just a few minutes after the zoo opened which was great as there was plenty of parking spaces and the zoo was nearly empty. We had plenty room to feed the giraffes which was so nice. At 12 noon we went to see the sea lion show, was very funny. I think an absolute must is is swimming with the sea lion. It cost €20 but well worthed. My 3 year old daughter, her teenaged cousin, my husband and I enjoyed it very much. It was an amazing unforgetable experience. After all that it was time to enjoy the aqua park. I didn't see my husband and cousin for the hole afternoon as they tired them selfs out on the different water slides. My daughter and I relaxed in the kiddies pool, adult pool and the river. We had a very happy time there and we'll be back there again in 4 weeks.

How long does it take from Condado and what time does it open?

Zoo opens at 10 and waterpark at 11. It takes about 40minutes to drive there.

We generally take a cool box with food and drink. Get there early as the shaded areas go quickly. Its easier to leave early than arrive late!
Its a great day with the water and the zoo.
Check the website as you can print off discount vouchers. We used them in June - about 5 euro off each adult. You need to take a printed copy. ML can print on CDA for about 20 cents.
