We had the terrace galzed in on/about 10th April, shame the pic was taken before that as we havn't seen the glazing yet!

As a separate point can anyone who has completed at El Rincon provide me with an idea as to what charges they have incurred in the completion for example Brian and Helen already mentioned 1,000 euros for switching the water and electricty (I'm hoping that was for both) but is there anything else I should be aware of, I belive there is no under declaring the value i.e. no black money expected, so apart from the 7% IVA, I have  a fixed price for my solicitor what else should I expect ?

Well - now that we have completed I have a couple of questions for those who already have their touriste apartments at El Rincon. With the pack we were given with keys etc we only have one magnetic zapper to get us in through the secure gates - does anyone know how or where we can get another one of these - cos as we don't live there we need one for our keyholder to pass on to tenants and we need one here for ourselves if we go over and keyholder away.

Is there an alarm system fitted in the apartment - as when we paid deposit we were told that they were all fitted with security alarms but our keyholder says there doesn't seem to be one.

Did any of you check to make sure the builder does not still have keys to their apartment now that they have signed - this is something we were warned about when we bought our villas 4 years ago.  The builders tend to hang on to a set of keys and it makes pilfering easy!  We are buying a tv and any info any of you have any info on who we should get in touch with and what is in the apartment to link to that would be great  (we have had one response to this already - very informative just like to hear various options).  In fact any info on anything you think might help would be wonderful - a private response is fine

     We enquired about the gate zapper and you can buy them in the main carrefour supermarket in Torrevieja, if you open the zapper up they are only a series of little magnets arranged in a code position.

As for the keys, I am going to change the lock on my security gate and get some decent locks on my patio doors.

Hi All,

We have received an e-mail from our agent Parador, that it could be September before we are able to sign for our apartment. It looks like phase 2 is going to get the same delails as phase 1 have had.

I am new to this forum but have also bought a property on El Rincon Phase 2.

No news currently from Parador Properties and again am getting concerned regarding the date for completion

We were initially told June but June is nearly upon us.  Hopefully it will be before August but by the sound of all the messages this is unlikely to.  If any of you have further information I would be grateful to hear.

Please don't worry too much about not having heard from Parador Properties re signing for Phase 2 El Rincon as my boyfriend bought on Phase 1 through Parador and various dates were given and then cancelled but he actually signed in the end on 22nd March (weeks after the original date).

So it will be happening and good luck to you.
