I can accept a 1 off bad investment. I cannot accept paying fees to an administrator that is doing nothing for me personally to help my situation on La Isla. If you cannot understand this then your deluded.

I do not know either of the parties being discussed in any depth, however i have read through all the various comments on this forum,and puttting aside all the british/ spanish comments, surely stabbing someone in the back and decapitating them when they cannot even defend themselselves is not something that a democracy should be condoning, whatever country you are from.

is this the way any future questioning of budgets, practices, procedures etc, are to be bealt with? is this good for the community?

I know Phil is not due back in Spain until a week on Tuesday. I agree that people should be given an opportunity to defend themselves but clearly this situation is too late as the plan from Mileniun already complete. Their role of resort administrator seems to have given them authority that I never appreciated an administrator should or could legally have. Let's see what the new president does in the short term and see if she gets a firm handle on the issues early on. I am still not clear how Mileniun have replaced Phil Tann with a limited number of presidents attending Calling a meeting within 24 hours notice. Doesn't feel like there has been adequate representation until I see the minutes and if not was this session actually legal?

I understand your sentiments and how you feel.
I believe we will not be able to influence the problems between ML and level 1 presidents but we can influence our own problems.
Airing your grievances on this site is not going to help, as all and sundry will have view point different to yours and all that will happen is you will be wound up. Please use the forum site I have set up, I will be meeting carman this weekend and we have some better news.

Your energies could be used with us rather than with people who do not care so much about la Isla or our situation.

 I keep telling you level 2 vote him in level 2 vote him out  level 3 have no say. If all Level 2 attended meeting and voted as per  process under statutes then all valid . Yes argue all day about notice of meeting but level 2 voted. Mil Lev have no vote.

Victoria is a professional person and holds position at Tax Office. She is an owner on Condado as per the rules . 

 

Business is done over internet so everyone has the ability to speak where ever they are.

When you say owner as per rules...I take it she is not a resident on CdA or are you using the term owner/resident as one.

It is extremely worrying that PT is sacked following the letter from ML. If we as a resort accept that our Managing Company manage to get rid of our Level 1 President, we should be alert!

Having been verry happy with ML`s services, I am now deeply concerned!

Phil is level 3 and level 2 . Only level 1 changed .  Mick has his proxy so had his authority while Phil away 

 

any owner can stand for President , no difference as to whether they are resident or not he 

 

Victoria is also from Lorca nearby so understand the area and has knowledge from her working life of how things are run here. 

Very nice lady and seems to know how to get the best from people working with her. 

I fear there will still be an attempt in the future by certain factions to take control , The silent majority need to tell people what kind of resort we want to own . Whilst we need a mix of nationalities as Presidents , a President does need to understand how things are done here. Change must be from within and carried out with a gentle approach

I do understand that, it is still worrying. ML is issuing a letter and a week later our Level 1 President has gone. He probably doesn`t even know it yet. It still seems to be a case of the employee sacking the employer..

I do not have any confidence in this system anymore.

 

I doubt that someone who lives by the latest technologies has not been on the Internet or found out through friends what is going on. I think he has had the good sense to keep off these forums and conduct his business in private.
It will all come out in the end and hopefully it will a happy ending for the good of the resort.

Yes, the community will of course have to go on. And I also assume that PT has been informed.

But the process of sending a letter to the owners and asking for a supporting poll to remove the Level 1 president is not acceptable. Seems that we have to get our president accepted by the administrator, then. I trust our elected presidents of all levels will set this straight. 

Could we possible arrange a residents meeting???Mark Bentley, when are you here again??

When is the next residents meeting? Have you attended this meeting previously and if so can you send me the list attendees and minutes? It would be good to give people enough time to make arrangements if a key meeting is coming up that I am sure a number of people would like to contribute to.

Hi, yes I live on CDA.  PT would not be in my circle of friends but I dont like how it was handled...this coup has been in the offing for weeks..and I really feel the way ML have handled this is nothing short of a Spanish takeover!!  I love the Spanish, I love the country and I want us to live and work side by side and to build CDA.  I love CDA and love the people but this current situation needs to be sorted!!

Hi, I really feel that our new President should be voted in by all residents not 3 tier 2 presidents, regardless of nationality....can we call an emergency AGM/ EGM???  This should not be accepted....I also believe that ML have not acted in best interests of our community and should be replaced...
