Hi,
my electric bill is paid by direct debit, but last week I didn't transfer money to Spain quick enough so there wan't enough funds in the bank to pay the bill. Does anybody know how to go about paying the bill please?
many thanks,
Stuart

Hi Shagan
Have you got a key-holder or similar who looks after your apartment for you? We use Rodafm and when the same thing happened to us last year they helped us out tremendously. Be quick in case your energy provider disconnects the supply!!
Pm me if you want their contact details.

You just need to do a manual transfer.
Contact your bank and ask them to make it for you if you don't have only banking.
Beware though - most banks charge a commission for manual payments.

I did manage to blag my way through and got them to request the payment again. All went swimmingly, so at least i know my Spanish is getting better.

Congrats Shagan, good to hear you managed to sort it.
What a shame that some owners are not as concerned or worried about being cut off if their Community Fees have not been paid, everyone rightly panics over utilities but do not feel services to keep the Community running are as important.

there can't be many of us who are worried if a bill or community fees are paid on time.
Hopefully something will come of the legal proceedings for owners in the UK not paying a bean for anything
