Sorry Cappielow, maybe i worded it wrong but i meant in a value for money type of way of viewing the accounts , they must balance or alarm bells would or should start ringing but i't doesn't mean our money is being spent wisely. The Phil Tann thing didn't work because they were at loggerheads and once you've lost your temper you've lost the battle.   I must admit i'm pro ML but it doesn't hurt to be cautious or frugal. Also why are we not on the backs more of all these parasites who are not paying the community charge but still enjoy the same as those that do, get all the money in and we could all be paying less or getting more facilities, i'm all for a lapdancing club next to the Clover at least i know for sure my money wouldn't be wasted

And people wonder why most of the original purchasers of CdA on here mostly observe only.  I for one.  Its become personal, intimidating and for some abusive.

We were glad for people to know who we were. To meet up to have a drink, a meal even a bbq. Many have become great friends. We remember what this forum was designed to do and did. HELP EACH OTHER. Some of you lot under your pseudonyms, probably sit next to each other in the Clover having just completed your latest personal vile and unecessary attack on a fellow Condodian. However you dont know its them sitting next to you in some cases.

"Bit of banter" or "entitled to an opinion."  Yes we all are, but not at the vilification of others. I work in a large factory 8500 MEN. I see banter and differences of opinion every day. But if they spoke to each other with the ferocity of some of you folk they would be sacked. That is not an exaggeration, its a fact. Because there are laws in factories and the workplace governing abuse, intimidation etc. Apparently not on here.

I dont know Phil and Leslie Tann very well at all. Nodding aquaintance is how I would describe myself. But I have enourmous sympathy and respect for them both. How difficult must it have been to read on an open forum people they may have considered friends or supporters slagging them off. How gutsy it was of them to return to Condado afterwards to try and resume their lives. Total respect.

I dont give a damn about the politics. About who started it. Who said what who did what. I hope Both Phil and Leslie remain dignified. Dont get involved in a slanging match with Milemiun. Dont critisise each mistake Mileniun make.

As for being a silent majority. Yes like many happy with the service Mileniun provide so far. Time always reveals the truth.  YNWA. So if in time Mileniun are proven corrupt and guilty of fraud my opinion will change. Until then let them get on with the business of running OUR resort. But most importantly of all. Stop creating threads like this, and allow Phil and Leslie Tann a chance to get out of the spotlight and resume their lives. I will never contribute to another thread that involves them personally for obvious reasons.

Hopefully those of you that need to (brave one's under a pseudonym) grow up and stop stirring trouble.

 I apolgise to Mr Tann if he read/ reads my post , i was just stating an obvious senario and in no way at all was it meant to be a personal attack, god knows where we'd be without him . So Frank is that a yes or a no to the  Gentlemens Club ?? lol

 I agree with the comments on the auditor although he would do a bit more than check the spreadsheets add.  But in simple terms the auditor will only be checking that there is some support for the various expenses, transactions, and balances. 

I have had only a quick look at the report.  Had one query as I think I might be misreading things.  It seems we are way over the water budget (was interested because of the whole water saga).  Even in 2012 we spent close to €60k when the yearly budget was €80k.  Then I was looking at the consumption graphs and it appears the consumption for 2012 is down on the previous year for the same period. So from what I'm reading (if its accurate and reflects the same usage) consumption is down but we are still way over budget.  This may be an alltogether misread on my part. Anyone who has read it put me right on this?

Nice to see a report and it is a huge budget so there is work involved in providing this type of info.   And not easy for the presidents who have to review it all on our behalf.
