Wind & Solar Power

Hi,

Long time since I posted but it`s good to see the forum is still active!

Has anyone any information regarding solar panel or domestic wind turbines, it just occurs to me we have sun and we have wind in SJ so self generating heat and electric would seem to be a good idea....or am I missing the point here.

We went out with Lavinia & David last night and it was really interesting going over all the hassles involved with the purchase, licences etc and how we even considered pulling out, everyone agreed that it was all worth it given how great the place is now...and it just gets better each time we visit.

Yes, we felt like pulling out after the long wait but we're so glad we didn't now.  As of next year we'll be out a lot more.  The idea of wind and solar power is very appealing.   Maybe our side of Phase 3 could chip in for a communal turbine installed in Dominic and Jane's garden.  Lol
