House and content insurance

We have for the last 4 years insured our house through intasure. Like most insurance premiums it has increased during this period but to such an extent that now it is almost as much as the insurance on our house in England and with an excess of £250 on our Spanish home as opposed to £50 through Directline on our home insurance. I spoke to Directline about insuring our Spanish home but they don't opperate in Spain. Can anyone give advice? The proposed premium with intasure with a £250 excess is £239.53.

 Hi Martin/Carole. "Linea Directa" is the Spanish version of "Direct Line". You can get a quote on line at Linea Directa.es    No idea of price tho. They say you can build your own policy to suit your needs?
