Great to know about the Angry Birds park, the wee man is now into them.
Let me know if you ever come across a teenage mutant ninja park, else I'll just need to make do with the movie - which will have Megan Fox to keep daddies entertained.

Taken from Tumbit today re the Fitur tourism fair in Madrid just started.
Proyectos Emblemáticos Murcianos - Premursa - have taken the decision not to promote their Paramount Pictures Theme Park project to would-be investors and tour operators with an eye on 2015. However, Paramount Hotels and Resorts in Dubai have taken the opportunity to promote themselves.
Notably, Murcia's Corvera International Airport and the State-owned Paradores Hotel chain are being represented at the exhibition this year.
Now there is a surprise - I think Darren has inside information!

There seems to be some misinterpretation, Paramount Murcia is taking part in the largest turism show FITUR with a special stand within the Murcia Region display. They have some 60 sqm of dedicated displays for the new Paramount Theme Park Murcia.

Apologies for the post which stated that the Paramount presentation did not take place. Obviously TUMBIT are not a source to be trusted.
Will be interesting to see if the presentation is brought to Alhama after the fair for us to view.

No doubt that this is a really impressive presentation that a lot of work & money has gone into to get it this far. I remain hopeful that this will not be like everything else we were promised and are still waiting for in our little patch of Spain ! Most of us know from experience that the promotional literature produced by the developers can look stunning but turns out to be pie in the sky. I still have my brochures from the Polaris promotions for CDA boasting the splendid Arabic oasis complex with boating lakes and all the rest - maybe not in my life time then !! Having said that, I think fundamentally Spain is really the logical place to put something like this and it should be a tremendous success if it secures the required funding and gets moving without all the usual Spanish bureaucracy throwing a spanner in the works at every opportunity. This would really transform CDA for the better in my opinion. Keeping everything crossed and keenly waiting the onset of 'serious' diggers (not 3 men & a shovel moving olive trees)!! Regards,

With the greatest respect Cappie I dont think that the Spanish authorities have done themselves any favours by promoting timescales and failing them all!
If it goes ahead ( And I hope it does) then just give people the true facts.
Thats what the people want not false dawns!!!

Nothing to do with the particular nationality Mr Cappie, just the fact that countless announcements about things starting or completing by a certain date going by the wayside time & time again (Corvera, Paramount). They make themselves look foolish and incompetent to anyone who is used to working to a schedule and keeping to it. Same statement would stand if was English, Scots, Yanks or whatever. You are obviously well comfortable in the 'mañana' mode. I am afraid to me, theme parks, airports, and golf developments are best executed on the American model i.e. Get on with it man. Regards,
