Can anyone help me with a planning permission problem. I went to the town hall where i live with my own drawings for a tiny entension which I was told was within permitted development. The town hall directed me to go to an architect which i did and he wants to charge me £2000 to draw up my plans and make the application. Is he having me on or is there a cheaper way to do it ????sad"
