Being new to the resort and not knowing the original plans, I wonder what the completed building is that is outside the resorts itself just a bit further round from the main roundabout into Condado (and an unused entry gate)? It's in the same red brick as Al Kasar but looks deserted....anyone know what it is or was? Just curious - Thanks!

Yes, it was the old sales office. A great building with a small inner courtyard. There was a sales office & a large room with a model of the original layout
It would make a fantastic villa if someone had the cash to buy it, maybe brick off the lawned area to the left & add a small pool
If anyone has some spare cash lying around that they don’t want (I wish) I could really do something serious with it.

Woild make a better club house. All the incoming golfers could park outside the fence then walk through the club house to the resort. Ok currently a long way from the 1st but the 4th could be renumbered.

I seem to remember someone commented that Jack Nicklaus himself objected to the re-numbering of the holes as it would negaitvely impact the 'flow' of the course, as he intended it. Dunno if there's any truth in that, but if so it would explain why the old sales office wasn't an option for the Clubhouse.

Thanks for the replies. Shame it is not in use for something, we had a nosey around it when we discovered it and its a great space. Who actually owns it? Any feasible plans for it's use, does anyone know?
